Jimmy was able to take cover on cars, switch weapons with the D-Pad, and so on. This was the Mafia II gameplay we've written about so many times before. My first mission just had me blasting guys and trying to make a getaway. Jimmy ends his spiel by telling you this is the day he gets "f***ed." I didn't get to that part in his story, but I did get to tear around the streets of Empire Bay and whack some fools. The first mission opens with a cutscene narrated by Jimmy as he bashes his car windows, pops dudes and goes through some similarly nefarious acts. Instead, you're Jimmy, a hired thug who only cares about the mission and money at hand. In this pack of quests, you're not going to play as the main character of Mafia II's story. ![]() Now, however, we've been lucky enough to actually play the first three missions.Ĭlick here to watch the DLC in action. ![]() Sounds good, but you knew all that, right?
